Dream

Dream

One Night I went to sleep and when I was sleeping I woke up to the sound of what I heard as get up we are almost at the docking site on this mysterious planet we are here to find new things so get out there. So we all got out and the first thing my brain said to me was that this was beautiful and let me tell you it was with waterfalls and this planet had so many meadows with big long luscious green grass to go and play in all day there were bushes and trees and there was water the perfect planet to come to and live on but there was only one tiny little piece that is very important and that was something called air.





Once we were done we got back on the ship and I had no idea where we were going so I headed off to the sleeping quarters to take a nap until we got there the next place was terrible it was a place called devil's place and this place had devil’s just wandering the whole of the Planet and there were pockets of lava and the ground was as hot as an oven and we had to go explore with very fire resistant boots and it was a relatively small planet so if you weren't looking you would fall off the planet and just float around in the big black open space called space and that what I did and no one off my rocket ship came looking for me.




The next part of my dream, I woke up in space and I was just floating in space forever until I hit a rogue planet and the planet has huge and big craters and and its color was matte black with some silver spots on the mysterious planet and it had some weird little creatures on it and later on I found out that they were called wookies and they can help you but otherwise this planet was massive and I could just walk for miles and miles but I couldn't because I had to find a way out of space but the planet was dark and scary but had some cool spots to stare at earth and think about how much I missed it and while I am on the planet I just think why did I come up here with these people





In the next part of Dream I was on the spaceship again with the captain and he said “Your lucky to be alive because you were out there for about 24 hours and you where running out of air up there so we had to find you fast and so we did“ So that was good and he finally said that we would be going back to earth today but first we have to go to one more planet to get some more stuff for research once we got back to the lab safely and then we headed of to the next planet to get what we needed and that was going to be fun because he said that this planet was the best out of all of them. So I headed of the cabin in the space shuttle to get some rest and that is what I did and we made it to the planet in approximately 10 light years yet it was pretty far away and pretty deep into space.




so we landed on the planet with lots of expectations and it was so beautiful and there were waterfalls and lakes and best of all there was a dome around it so we filled it with some air and we could breath and that was the main thing it had water it had some sunlight to grow food and we could eat and it had water to drink and we had a place to build houses on it and that would be perfect to live on it and it was the most beautiful and stunning planet in the galaxy and that is a very big statement and so good but this planet had such good signs for human life to come and live on it and the grass was so soft and silky and so luscious I could just play in it all day every day but that's a big statement.




So the captain said “ Ok everyone stop playing we have to get back to earth now to have a press conference about this new planet many light years later they are back on earth and one month back on earth my phone rings and the caller says” Come to Nasa Conference room and wear a suit because we have to talk about this new planet that we can all live on now and that we just have to bring all the materials back up to the planet and start to build up some houses and some shops and start getting people up to the planet.

We Should Not Ban Fireworks

We shouldn’t ban fireworks just because some people use them stupidly and ruin the fun for everyone. That uses them correctly, I also feel that people should have to get a licence to use fireworks.

It can be thrilling to see those bright colors in the sky because they can be good for any occasion because they are fun and big and bright so that is why they can be good for any occasion not just guy fawkes. I have proof I asked my teacher if she uses them on many different occasions and she said that she saves them until New Years eve.

They have very bright colors It brings family and friends together because they are nice and welcoming and bright and colorful and then some of the families will have barbecues and then some of them go in their pools if they have one and they just have a good night. People use fireworks to bring families to have fun and unite together and catch up with everyone in the family.




Having fun with sparklers because they are thrilling to light and wave around and writing things with the light and you can also draw things with the sparklers and then do some fun things with them like lighting multiple of them at once or bend them together and intertwine them and then they look very cool but please don’t do it because it is dangerous.

We should not ban fireworks because they could be some laws for them so we could be safer.

Thank You to Greyhigh for inviting us to the amazing race and making games for us to play and giving us something to do all day like going outside and doing challenges. Some of the activities and were very fun starting with the haka we had to make up three hakas that were written down on a different piece of paper and we had to get them made and then you had to run to the next activity which was fun we had to carry fruit on our heads in a bowl with some fabric that you had to keep on your head going through a course and then we had to run to our next one which was kicking soccers balls at targets to get points to win and also you got and extra points if you got there first and sat down in line then we had to run to our next one that was a lollie obstacle course so we had to hold a lollies with chopsticks and then go through an obstacle course then you could put the lollie in the bowl and get another person to go and then you could go as many times until the time ran out and then you gotta share the lollies around and then we were of to our last activity which we had to bowl some bowls like indoor bowls but they were outside but same rules the team with the closest bowl won and we won and then we ran back to the center for some food then we had to listen to who won but sadly my team didn’t and which I was america and we had to make a chant and mine was land of the free donald trump sucks leave the country and my favourite activity was the lollies and then and England won. Duffy Books

These are my duffy books and my school is very lucky to be able to pick out these books and get them taken to our school and given to us and we pick them out very specifically. we pick them out by being given a magazine and we are given on the back a grid we pick our first book by putting a tick by the book that we want then we get a second box and that is our box we also get two more because if we dont get our two first choices we can get those two book instead of our first two choices.  but I am lucky and I got my two first choices at least I think I did I hope but it doesn't matter if i didn't because they were all one's that I liked. My book D.DAY  came with a small compass in it and I think that that is pretty cool.

Facts About The Moon

The Moon



Some people say that the sun is a planet when in fact that it is really just a giant star in the sky like the others but brighter. Some believe that the sun goes around is earth but really it is in the middle of our solar system and we go around it because it would take a really long to go around us so that's why we go around it. When we can see the moon at night the sun is in fact shining on that part of the moon and thats is how we can see it. People think that the earth goes around the moon but then we wouldn’t be able to see it because the sun won’t shine on it. I am going to show you the moon circle it starts with the New Moon and we can’t see that one then it goes to the Waxing Moon or crescent Waxing quarter looks like a half Waxing gibbous full moon we can all see that then Waning gibbins slowly gets dark again Waning quarter half dark Waning crescent a little bit.

On this task we had to write things that was on the board into our own words and make it into a paragraph.

Matariki art

This is my matariki art and we had to make something that resembled matariki so what I made a kiwi and a weka and the kiwi is sitting on an egg and then there is giant hills in the back with a big moon in the sky and then there is all of the stars in the sky with a blue light around the stars as they are very bright.

different types of pencils

There are many different types of pencils and they are scaled called the graphite scale and that was used to measure the hardness and the darkness but nowadays we use a scale with numbers. Like say that there is a 2 on the pencil that has a softer core than other pencils so the bigger the number on the pencil the harder the core inside the pencil is and the softer the core is the darker the line is and the harder the core is the lighter the line will be or if your writing so if you are writing I would go with a number 2 because it is darker but if you are doing art go with a bigger number pencil.

Here I have got many different numbers of pencils and I explain what they mean in the paragraph.

At school over 100 hundred years ago students learnt how to write on slate boards and with slate pens if you don't know what a slate board is (it is a board that is made out of a special type of rock that you could write on and then rub it off with a rag. And after a couple of months the kids started to write with pens and paper because paper was very expensive back then.











And the teachers write on blackboards with chalk and the older students used dip pens and it was made of a wood for the handle and a metal tip to dip into the ink and they had to dip it every few words to get some more ink on it but they didn’t dip it too much on because it would drip on the paper and that wouldn’t be good. The desks had a hole in the top right corner and the inkwell would sit in it and then the kids would have to fill them daily from an ink bottle and people still use a pen with a nib because it makes your writing look beautiful. By the 1930s kids were using fountain pens this pen had a tube in the pen for the ink to fill the tube they had to lift up a lever on the side of a pen.







Then they would put the nib in the ink and closed the lever and there would be a hole in the nib and that would feed ink to the tube. Now we use ball point pens it still uses a tube of ink in the center and there is a tiny ball at the tip of the pen and when you move the pen it moves the ball and the ball has ink all over it and it goes over the paper leaving a trail in the oder were you put it. I would rather use the ball point because it is the easiest to use because you don’t have the ink dripping and you don’t have to dip it and it is a not a very complex pen to use.


so here is the history o pens & pencils and it is pretty interesting to know the history and how the old pencils worked and some were very complex and some were very easy to use.

animal communication

Lion’s use many different kinds of communicating like meaows, roars, grunting, moans, growls, snarls, puffs, woofs, purrs and each sound means a different word or a warning





Rabbits have a very complex language they talk to other rabbits they can also talk to humans with many different postiers your rabbit's personality and dialect and they say that the rabbits ears like the rabbits radar.





Monkeys most primates spend their lives in complex tightly woven societies and need to frequently communicate with each other they communicate with smells and sounds and visual messages and touching one another and that's how they talk








Cricket the bottom of the wing of the cricket with like teeth like ridges that make it rough the upper side of the wing is like a scraper and when they rub them together it makes a chirping sound and that is called stridalating and that's how they communicate






here I have made I list of how different animals communicate with each other and they do it very differently and I am very impressed about what I learnt.
